On Wednesday 4 May, our guests had the chance to enjoy a visit of a cheese farm, where the famous Parmigiano-Reggiano is produced today as it was eight centuries ago with same ingredients, same techniques and same artisanal cure. We continued towards an important and enchanting family-held farm, where the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia is produced. This Italian masterpiece matures for at least twelve years in the vinegar farms’ attics of Reggio Emilia. A gourmet lunch together with Lambrusco of Reggio Emilia is a suitable moment to admire the landscape and the fascinating Enza river valley. Furthermore, this culinary tour allows to visit a renowned family that for 20 years has been dedicated to the production of Parma Ham, following the entire production process. An unique excellence that is recognized and appreciated all around the world thanks to its naturalness and its inimitable sweetness. The trip continues to Parma, a city that is well-known for its UNESCO title of “Creative City for Gastronomy” and its music tradition.
