
FIRST DAY: Arrival and visit to a wonderful farm on the first hills of the city. Here you will discover the secrets of two special products: the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia, which is aged for at least twelve years in the attics of the acetaie, and the famous Lambrusco, typical wine well-known all over the world. The visit will end with a tasting of both products. Lunch in a traditional bistrot. In the afternoon visit of Reggio Emilia city centre, starting from Prampolini Square where the Cathedral rises nearby the Baptistery and the Town Hall, with the Hall of the Tricolour Flag, where in 1797 the Italian flag was first adopted. Then the Basilica of San Prospero, the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine della Ghiara with The Crucifixion by Guercino, the unmissable Municipal Theatre and the possibility to visit the current exhibition at Palazzo Magnani. Dinner in a typical restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel.
SECOND DAY: Breakfast at the hotel and visit to a cheese factory to discover the secrets of Parmigiano-Reggiano, the King of Cheeses. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. In the afternoon the Calatrava Park Project, which consists of the bridges and the High Speed Train Station Mediopadana by the architect Santiago Calatrava. Moreover, the Maramotti Contemporary Art Collection completes this urban dialogue between art and architecture. Departure.
