4 days adventure with the family to discover nature, traditional flavors and farm animals in Emilia-Romagna!
Day 1: Arrival in Emilian Apennine
Arrival in the Reggio Emilia Apennines, followed by check-in and relax at the hotel.
Enjoy your free time with an excursion to the Pietra di Bismantova, mentioned also by Dante Alighieri in his “Divina Commedia”.
Return to the hotel; half board service and overnight stay in the Apennines-Reggio Emilia area



Day 2: Farm animals and Parmigiano Reggiano PDO
After breakfast at the hotel or farmhouse, transfer independently to Reggio Emilia.
The day begins with a visit to the Dairy of the Red Cow Consortium, where you will discover the traditional production process of Parmigiano Reggiano PDO. The experience concludes with a tasting of three different aging varieties of the famous cheese.
Enjoy free time for lunch in the surrounding area. We also recommend taking the opportunity to explore the historic center of Reggio Emilia.
In the afternoon, continue your experience with a visit to a Red Cow farm. Here, you will enjoy a unique and authentic activity including a tour of the barn, a meeting with the local breeders, and even the opportunity to help feed milk to the calves alongside the farm staff.
Finally, return to the hotel for dinner, half-board service, and overnight stay in the Reggio Emilia Apennines area.



Day 3: Family adventure
Breakfast at the hotel/farmhouse and transfer to Cervarezza on your own.
The morning will be dedicated to Cerwood Adventure Park, the first adventure park established in Emilia-Romagna and today the largest in Italy. Here, both adults and children can enjoy exciting tree-top adventure trails immersed in nature.
Time to enjoy free lunch, with the possibility of stopping at the Bar Restaurant Locanda di Cerwood.
In the afternoon, continue your adventure by discovering the area’s famous Big Benches using the BBCP Passport, which is included in the package.
At the end of the day, return to the hotel for dinner, half-board service, and overnight stay in the Reggio Emilia Apennines area.



Day 4: Emilian nature
The last day starts with breakfast at the hotel/farmhouse and check-out.
We recommend visiting the beautiful Bianello Oasis, a splendid natural area in the lower Emilian Apennines characterized by gentle hills, woods, small meadows, cultivated fields, and Mediterranean scrub.
Later, enjoy lunch at a local farmhouse featuring a set menu including water, coffee, and a glass of wine.
After lunch, you will have some additional free time, with the opportunity to visit the donkeys in the farmhouse stables and explore the local farm shop before departure.
